Hello! I’m Kara
I’ve been passionate about photography since I was 10 years old, and over the last six years I have been able to dedicate more of my life to developing and fine tuning my skills within the craft. Photography has grown from being my passion to being my career that I am passionate about. I specialize in a style of photography that is a mix of candid and editorial with a focus on capturing the moments where my client or clients feel the most comfortable, connected, and themselves.
I’m not a “content creator”. My clients’ lives are not content. They are real moments filled with love, grief, happiness, silliness, awkwardness, and humanity.
Weddings and Engagements
Film photography will be primarily documentary style with candid photos taken throughout the event. The more editorial photos will be of you and your partner, and I will help you both with posing and feeling comfortable!
The Wedding Day
Investment starts at $800 and includes 4 rolls of film
Engagement Session
Investment starts at $400 and includes 2 rolls of film
A 10% deposit is required to officially reserve your requested date. A second deposit will be the same amount as the first, due 3 months before wedding date. Should there be a travel fee, it is to be paid no later than a week before the wedding date. Remaining balance will be due within 3 days after the wedding date.

Pricing can vary based on time and film rolls needed. Travel costs will be applied if location is outside of the CLT area.
FAQs
What is your turnaround time?
My turnaround time is typically about 3 weeks for weddings and one week for all other shoots.
Are prints included?
Prints are available at an additional cost!
How are photos delivered?
Photos are delivered via an organized Dropbox folder that can be shared.
How many photos are on each roll of film?
Each roll of film is about 35 shots.
Will I receive the negatives?
Happy to send them to your home upon request!
Are there any guidelines to photo editing?
All images are yours to do with as you wish, but I ask that clients do not edit or photoshop the images.
What if a roll of film does not come out at all?
If a roll of film does not come out, clients will be provided a few different options for compensation
Do you work with different budgets?
Pricing can be adjusted to fit different budgets, please just reach out for a quote!
