Hello! I’m Kara
I’ve been passionate about photography since I was 10 years old, and over the last six years I have been able to dedicate more of my life to developing and fine tuning my skills within the craft. Photography has grown from being my passion to being my career that I am passionate about. I specialize in a style of photography that is a mix of candid and editorial with a focus on capturing the moments where my client or clients feel the most comfortable, connected, and themselves.
I’m not a “content creator”. My clients’ lives are not content. They are real moments filled with love, grief, happiness, silliness, awkwardness, and humanity.
Weddings and Engagements
My approach is documentary and some portraits worked in throughout the day, with the wedding being primarily shot on film. My experience in weddings has primed me to understand when clients need a little bit of guidance and when to take a step back and observe.
Wedding days begin at $5,500. There are a range of options and add-on’s, including engagement sessions, additional photographers, and rehearsal and welcome parties. Elopements are quoted on a custom basis.

Pricing can vary based on time and film rolls needed. Travel costs will be applied if location is outside of the CLT area.
FAQs
Will I receive the negatives?
Wedding clients will receive negatives after gallery completion. Session clients can receive negatives upon request.
Are there any guidelines to photo editing?
All images are yours to do with as you wish, but I ask that clients do not edit or photoshop the images.
Do you work with different budgets?
There are multiple wedding offerings at different price points. Custom quotes are created for sessions and elopements based on client needs.
What is your turnaround time?
Weddings are typically returned within eight weeks and sessions within two weeks. Wedding clients will receive a small preview gallery within two weeks.
Are prints included?
Prints are available for purchase via your online gallery.
How are photos delivered?
Photos are delivered via online gallery where high resolution downloads will be available.
